  • How do I connect (pair) my Jabra BT2046 to my mobile device using Bluetooth?

    The first time the Jabra BT2046 is turned on, it will be ready to connect to your mobile phone.

    To connect to a new or second mobile phone:

    1. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
    2. Turn off the Jabra BT2046 - press and hold (5 seconds) the Answer/End button.
    3. Press and hold the Answer/End button until the light is solid blue.


     
    4. Connect to your mobile phone. Enter 0000 (4 zeros) if asked for a PIN.

  • How do I reset the Bluetooth pairing list on my Jabra BT2046?

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Remove the Jabra BT2046 from the list of paired devices in your mobile device's Bluetooth menu.
    2. Turn off the Jabra BT2046.
    3. Press and hold the Answer/end button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED is solid blue.



    4. While in this mode, double-tap the Answer/end button.
    5. The Jabra BT2046 has now been reset.
    6. When you turn on the headset, it will automatically go into pairing mode.
    7. Go to the Bluetooth menu on the mobile device, search or add a new device and select Jabra BT2046. If asked for a pin code or passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros).

  • Why do I hear static noise on my Jabra headset?

    Wireless devices are susceptible to interference that may affect audio quality and result in static. To avoid blocking the Bluetooth signal, follow these guidelines:

    • Make sure the distance between your headset and the paired device does not exceed 33 feet (10 m).
    • Make sure there is a direct line of sight between your headset and phone. Avoid placing objects that can block radio signals between paired devices. These include walls, doors and windows.
    • Avoid environments where computers, microwave ovens and high concentrations of Wi-Fi are present
    • Keep your headset and mobile phone on the same side of your body.
    • Avoid placing your mobile phone in a back pocket.

    Note: Low battery capacity in your Jabra headset and mobile phone may affect the Bluetooth range.

    • Do not store batteries for extended periods without recharging them, around every 3 months for most products.

    If you handle or store rechargeable batteries incorrectly, their lifetime may be reduced.
